JOB REQUISITION Senior Travel Analyst LOCATION SAN RAMON JOB DESCRIPTION Robert Half International is seeking an experienced Senior Travel Analyst eager to provide high quality travel services to Robert Half and Protiviti global employees. The ideal candidate must be trustworthy, reliable and have travel industry background. This position will highly contribute and be critical to drive the operational aspects of the program. This role’s primary focus will be leading the Travel Services operations while managing the day-to-day travel management relationship with employees and supplier. The ideal individual will have a positive, “can do” attitude with a strong customer focus to deliver innovative and consultative travel offerings that improve employee’s travel experiences, while also containing costs and executing supplier relationship management. Responsibilities include: Program Management (Travel Operations): 65% Contributes to overall program strategy and optimization and oversee the day-to-day activities of the travel services Leads project management initiatives, specifically but not limited to, implementing new travel services and collaborate regularly with TMC account manager Ability to work strategically to improve online adoption, improve cost savings and efficiencies of the travel booking process Partners with key internal stakeholders to provide needed support on the travel program. Create and manage communications to the traveler community Leads travel operations and ensures related processes are accurately documented and executed Analyzes policy compliance and travel behavior through travel data and provide strategies to increase compliance and determine the best course of action to improve the program Partners closely with other regions to build a stronger global team with consistent process and procedures Maintain travel’s intranet site and content to ensure communication channels and traveler resources are current and effective Deliver regular updates and seek program improvement opportunities. This includes creating and maintaining a global issues log with dates, action items, responsibilities, etc. Partner with Meetings team to coordinate meeting travel, reporting needs and support event planners as needed Supplier Management: 25% Ability to develop relationships and negotiate with suppliers Manage suppliers in partnership with the Travel Manager to deliver services and ensure SLAs are met Coordinate and lead the annual hotel RFP process Manage soft dollar air programs from various suppliers and provide recommendations for usage Accounting/Reconciliation and Reporting: 10% Support credit card reconciliations, Travel & Meeting accruals, and partner with accounting to ensure any rectifications or adjustments are appropriately resolved Analyze, monitor, and report on travel expenditures and trends weekly/monthly to drive cost management and policy compliance Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree preferred Travel Background – 5 years of experience in travel industry and solid understanding of a corporate travel program and airline systems and procedures High attention to detail Confident and strong ability in manipulating travel data within Excel Quick response time to customer inquiries and requests. Strong ability to multitask Exercises independent judgment in problem solving Strong customer service skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to manage issues and bring them to resolution Should be independent, highly organized, and a motivating project lead Project Management skills, a plus Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office products At Robert Half, there’s more to us than what we do.
