Robert Half is seeking an Accountant to join a great team on a long-term contract/contract-to-hire basis!The incumbent in this position possesses considerable understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB) pronouncements and exercises such knowledge when providing assistance and services to the City Administration.Performs detailed accounting activities, including research, analysis, and reconciliation of accounts, processes accounts payable and payroll, assists in the development of policies and procedures, internal controls, assists the Finance Manager in completing their responsibilities. These include procurement, budget development, budget implementation, and grant management.
