We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join a educational institution's administrative team. The School Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing budgets, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of financial accounting, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for review by school management and external stakeholders. Develop and maintain budgets in collaboration with school leadership, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives. Monitor cash flow and financial transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Reconcile bank statements and other financial records on a regular basis. Coordinate with auditors and regulatory agencies during audits and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls. Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making processes. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support as needed. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations that may impact the school's financial operations.
