As an Accounting Assistant - AR, you will be responsible for handling refund and reconciliation projects, maintaining accurate records, and effectively communicating with various teams.Responsibilities:• Conduct research and post refunds to clients, adjusting original invoices and service amounts as necessary.• Manage customer payments, typically made through credit card or checks, and maintain accurate records.• Prepare packages with copies of original payments for record-keeping purposes.• Reconcile payments into JD Edwards, a required skill for this role.• Maintain close communication with the Engineering teams to confirm original payments.• Retrieve balances that have been inaccurately relocated by the Engineering team and ensure they are correctly accounted for.• Create refunds within JD Edwards based on invoice reviews.• Handle refunds and assist the Engineering team with customers who have overpaid due to system errors.• Work in collaboration with other teams, ensuring smooth project transition and continuity.• Use JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software to perform various accounting tasks.
