Accounting Supervisor
Our manufacturing client, located in Tecumseh, MI, is looking for an Accounting Manager to support their team on an interim basis. The ideal candidate has a strong Accounting background and great interpersonal skills. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity!
The day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Issue timely and complete financial statements
- Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner and that all reasonable discounts are taken
- Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly
- Process payroll in a timely manner
- Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed and Oversee all banking transactions
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following skill sets:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
- Monthly Financial Statements preparation required
- Proficiency in bank reconciliations, Command of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
- Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable, such as JobBOSS
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation
Salary : $45 - $50
