We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This role is primarily based in the AP/AR department and will focus on key accounting functions within the industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in managing customer accounts and relevant accounting tasks.Responsibilities:• Efficiently process customer credit applications and ensure accuracy.• Handle the coding and entry of invoices for payable accounts.• Manage the receipt of rent from tenants on a daily basis and record it accurately.• Oversee the approval process for invoices and ensure they are sent out to funders in a timely manner.• Monitor high-volume invoicing and take necessary action based on the status of customer accounts.• Utilize accounting software systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient task completion.• Conduct daily check deposits and record all transactions.• Handle billing functions and manage accounts receivable (AR) and payable (AP) efficiently.• Utilize Sage Intacct for various accounting functions.• Ensure all accounting functions are carried out in compliance with industry standards.*Please note that all candidates are required to provide 2 recent supervisor or manager references in order to be considered for employment.
