Accounting Specialist

We are in the market for an Accounting Specialist to be based in Auburn, Washington. This role lies within the commercial painting industry and primarily involves accounts payable and receivable (AP/AR) tasks. The successful candidate will be fully onsite and will work closely with other team members in managing the company's financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Handle job costing AP entries accurately to ensure financial records are up-to-date.
• Administer weekly check runs, ensuring all payments are made in a timely manner.
• Process union fees as required, maintaining a clear record of all transactions.
• Reconcile statements regularly to ensure financial data is accurate.
• Scan invoices and maintain orderly records of all financial documents.
• Handle high-volume, low-dollar credit card receipts, ensuring accuracy in reporting.
• Work closely with other team members for cross-training purposes.
• Administer accounts payable entries for job costing, ensuring that costs are correctly allocated.
• Resolve any discrepancies in financial documents and records as they arise.
• Use accounting software systems to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.
