The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and processing accounts payable payments, and providing these services in an effective, efficient, and detail oriented manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services.
2. Verify 3 way match against purchase orders, packing slips and invoices while complying with all company financial policies and procedures.
3. Prepare and enter batches of invoices into the company software system.
4. Manage payables and payments according to company standard operating procedure.
5. Prepare vendor checks for mailing and ACH batches for bank input.
6. Maintain updated vendor files including required tax identification numbers.
7. Research and assist in resolving all invoices with variances.
8. Maintain manual and electronic filing systems for all accounts payable documents.
9. Provide backup-up coverage for Accounts Receivable and Billing Clerk.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
- Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
- Invoice Coding experience preferred
- General familiarity with Infor
- Check processing experience
- Well-founded grasp of Post Journal Entries
- Enter Invoices experience desired
- Foundational knowledge in Check Runs
- Strong familiarity with batching
- Proven knowledge of Maintain Vendor Files
- Practical knowledge of data entry
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
- Competent with spreadsheets and databases
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
