Description My client is a growthing firm in the DC area seeking a new AR Accountant to join their team. The AR Accountant works closely with fellow accounting personnel to ensure timely receipts and processing of customer and vendor payments, as well as organized, timely accounting of such receipts.Duties/Responsibilities:· Processes and enters cash, check, and ACH payment data· Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent account holders to request payment· Investigates skipped invoices, short pays, and other receivables anomalies· Communicates with customers and vendors via phone and email, resolving issues with accounts in a timely manner· Verifies deposits and posts to accounts receivable subledger· Creates reports regarding the current status of customer accounts as requested· Reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer· Performs other duties within the scope of the accounting department as requested or assignedAll interested candidates in this AR Accountant and other full-time opportunities across the D.C. area please contact Pierre Tepie via LinkedIn.
