Job Responsibilities:
- Input data
- Reconciling and leveling general ledger accounts
- Helping with audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audits
- Assisting with full cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
- Investigating and fixing account discrepancies
- Make monthly journal entries
- Carrying out alternate duties and taking part in special projects as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications:
-Associate's Degree in Accounting/Finance
-3 years experience in general accounting, A/P or A/R, and/or entry level Associate positions - 0-2 years of experience required with Bachelor's Degree
-Experience with automated accounting and financial management systems
-Strong organizational and analytical skills
-Ability to convey financial information to non-financial users
-Ability to collect, analyze, and summarize data and to prepare clear and concise reports
-Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Financial Accounting Standards Board regulations
-Knowledge of financial terms and principles
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications preferred
