What you get to do every day
- Provides guidance for internal clients on applications, systems and/or processes for identifying and resolving, processing/reporting problems with programming. Consultation can include troubleshooting and/or education
- Analyzes and records issues, collaborating with other programmers to fix code problems
- Analyzes user requests for changes or improvements to systems. Creates documents of functional requirements and reviews cost, feasibility and utility. Suggests how, when and whether to proceed with the changes
- Builds dictionaries for applications and systems support by the analyst, and ensures they are up to date
- Assesses processing systems. Builds improvement recommendations
- Supports end users and other partner groups, providing ongoing training and assistance for a particular application, system or process
- Create and evaluate programming changes for each systems development phase prior to implementation. Log test cases and expected results. Verify that results meet requirements. May plan basic tests or a defined subset of larger tests. May suggest acceptance/rejection when requirements are not met
- Assists in the developing communication content for specific system changes being implemented in production
Requirements
- 2-4 years of C# experience
- ASP.NET MVC Framework experience
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
- SQL Server Reporting Services experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
