Robert Half's client is looking for a career-minded, talented individual, seeking to grow their skills as a Billing Analyst. As a Billing Analyst, you will play a critical role in our finance department, focusing on the accurate and timely generation of invoices, analysis of billing data, and resolution of billing discrepancies. Your expertise in financial operations and attention to detail will help us maintain strong client relationships, streamline billing processes, and ensure financial compliance.
What you will do:
- Generate accurate regular and complex billings.
- Deliver invoices timely to customers.
- Work and communicate with our customers through email and phone calls, as well as internal and external client follow-up.
- Analyzes incoming contracts and verifies client billing requirements.
- Identifies, tracks, and solves billing issues and addresses root cause problems.
- Identifies problems, anomalies, and trends by monitoring and analyzing data and coming to conclusions regarding this information.
- Provides accounting and billing support through the creation of reports.
- Utilizes SQL and Excel to perform ad-hoc analysis and maintain database queries that report on billing data.
- Develops special projects to automate and optimize current processes.
Requirements
Who you are:
- You have a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration (or related field).
- You will have a minimum of 3 years of practical, hands-on, work experience as a Billing, Data, Financial, or Business Analyst or have held similar titles.
- Have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, file comparisons, Vlookup).
- An analytical thinker, who can process information logically.
- You continuously look for ways to streamline a process and complete a task in the most efficient manner, all while supporting your teammates.
- High energy level, comfortable performing projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
- You have impeccable attention to detail. You review and analyze all your work.
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
