Robert Half is currently working with a dynamic client seeking a Cash Application Specialist. As the Cash Application Specialist, you will be responsible for processing high volume transactions for the accounts receivable department. The Cash Application Specialist will ideally have experience working in a high-volume environment and previous accounts receivable experience. Located in Broussard, Louisiana, this is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.
Key responsibilities
- Post daily payments including checks to customer accounts, wires and ACH credit transfers
- Manage accounts receivables and remittances
- Kick off general ledger reports weekly
- Help manage customer database accounts
- Handle all differences and discrepancies such as payment issues
Requirements
- Experience with high volume data entry
- Detail-oriented and high attention to accuracy are a must
- Experience with Cash Applications
- 2 years working in an accounts receivable department
- Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds
