Robert Half is looking for a Project professional for an interim opportunity as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO).As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall financial health and well-being of the organization. The CFO will oversee all finance, accounting, internal controls, forecasting, budgeting, treasury, tax, contract administration, Information Technology, legal administrative, building maintenance and facilities functions.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee financial systems implementations and upgrades
- Control independent auditor relationships
- Own the strategic management of the Accounting and Finance functions
- Govern accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Recognize and control business risks and insurance requirements
- Manage relationships with investors and investment institutions
- Recommend improvements to ensure the integrity of a company's financial information
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior accounting/finance position
- Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance or Accounting
- Superb interpersonal, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
- Strong communication (written and verbal) skills to interact effectively and clearly in a fast-changing environment
- Demonstrate proficiency with accounting software and other computer software
- CPA designation or MBA highly preferred
