Your responsibilities in this role
- Manage hiring and training for accounting and finance staff
- Handle all relationships with vendors
- Examine the organization's operations and determine if cash flow is appropriate
- Preside over independent auditor relationships
- Handle investor and investment institution relationships
- Identify and manage business risks and insurance requirements
- Oversee financial systems implementations and upgrades
- Recommend improvements to continue the integrity of a company's financial information
- Provide the finance and accounting functions with strategic management
- Verify that staff comply with state and federal laws and company's policies
- Supervise all finance personnel
- Direct accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
Requirements
- Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- MBA, CPA, CGMA or CMA preferred
- Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and IIA standards
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- 5 years' management experience
- 10 years' experience in accounting or finance
- Public accounting experience a plus
- Possess strong Microsoft Excel skills

Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
