Robert Half is working with a public company that is looking for a controller. The qualified candidate will be a CPA, and have a mix of public and private experience in addition to strong SEC exposure.
The job duties include preparing of the month, quarter and year end close as well as financial statements and audit prep, SEC filings and reporting, technical accounting, lead the SOX controls and compliance as well as consolidations. This role will also have the responsibility of managing and mentoring staff.
Additionally, the qualified candidate will be responsible for streamlining processes and procedures.

Requirements
- Financial Close Process experience
- SOX experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of SEC Reporting
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field

- Mix of Public and Private
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred
Salary : $140,000 - $170,000
