Major responsibilities
- Perform duties beyond formal job responsibilities
- Responsible for month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis
- Support punctual cash collection by managing the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques
- Manage the creation of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor them on a monthly basis
- Review deliverables of self and team to align with client expectations
- Collaborate with executive team and partners to support efficient and effective firm-wide operation
- Lead the operations of the finance department which includes accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll
- Present monthly financial reports to executive committee and partners
- Prepare cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, daily cash management
- Analyze, apply and improve policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies
- Advance Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed, with research, planning and implementation
Requirements
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines
- Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus
- CPA or MBA preferred
- Self-starter and strong ethical standards
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other business-related field
- Skilled in the construction and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds
- Strong attention to detail
- Prior work in technology, analytics, and management experience desired
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, prioritize deals, and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent
- 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred
- Knowledge of Big 4 Accounting Firm
- Comprehensive knowledge of CPA
- Proficiency in Manufacturing Cost Accounting
- Foundational knowledge in FASB
- Strong analytical capabilities and discernment
Salary : $175,000 - $200,000
