Major responsibilities
Developing internal control guidelines, policies, and procedures for budget accounting, cash and credit management, administration, and other activities. ● Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process ● Creating budgets and forecasts. ● Coordinating and directing budgeting, procurement, investment activities, and financial planning. ● Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards. ● Filing State and Local Tax for all required states as needed via AvaTax. ● Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement, and implementing new processes. ● Preparing and presenting financial reports and risk analysis. ● Maintain accuracy and verify all transactions via Quickbooks. ● Guiding financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures. ● Oversee the Procurement Department.
Requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field.
5 years’ experience in the accounting and finance sector.
2 years’ experience managing accountants and the accounting and finance process.
3 years’ in a position equivalent to a controller or higher responsibilities.
Professional accounting certification, including CMA, CGA, or CA preferred
Working knowledge of finance law and regulatory standards (GAAP).
Proficient with QuickBooks & MS Excel
Proficient with Google Docs and Sheets.
Salary : $85,000 - $105,000
