The Controller position is located in Littleton, Massachusetts and is on a long-term contract / temporary basis. You might be the Controller we're looking for if you can manage the process to ensure that models are correct and are fully accrued each month, verify and hold the operations team accountable to ensure end to end incentive processing, payments, accounting and related financial controls are operating effectively.
Key responsibilities
- Engage with various business partners for various program controllership and FP& A activities like maintaining accuracy of accrual models, appropriate accounting, and participating in true-up activities. Also answer queries from business, area and subsidiary controllers
- Collaborate with the Treasury to provide timely cash flow forecasts
- Become knowledgeable in key financial results and movements across programs to summarize and discuss with key business partners
- Perpetual reviewing of actual spend against budget, as well as leading necessary actions needed for any expected shortfalls
- Review and monitor that controls are designed and operating effectively in partnership with compliance
- Obtain a thorough understanding of essential financial results and movements across programs, then summarize and discuss them with key business partners
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes and tools for the accountable programs
- Comparison of evidence and qualitative discussion of monthly financial results across global programs to support SOX controls
