We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller or Accounting Manager for our client in the textile industry. As a Controller, you will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in their financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Oversee and manage the day-to-day financial operations of the company. Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets, providing insights and recommendations to the executive team for decision-making.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and financial reporting requirements. Coordinate and oversee external audits, tax filings, and other compliance-related activities.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor finance department staff, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging professional development and growth within the team.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, including profitability, liquidity, and solvency analysis, to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish realistic and achievable financial goals. Prepare financial forecasts, analyze variances, and provide explanations for budget deviations.
- Technology Integration: Evaluate, implement, and optimize financial systems and software to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
