Our manufacturing client, located in Madison Heights, MI is looking for an experienced Controller to join their team on an interim basis. The ideal candidate has previous experience working in the CPG industry.
The day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Full responsibility for month-end close and all balance sheet account reconciliations
- Attain comprehension of key financial results, including SG& A balances and movements across programs to summarize and discuss with key business partners
- Engage with various business partners for activities like maintaining accuracy of accruals, appropriate accounting, and participating in true-up activities. Also answer queries from business, area and Corporate
- Attain a thorough understanding of essential financial results and movements across programs, then be able to summarize and discuss them with key business partners
- Analyze and oversee controls to ensure they are effectively designed and operating in partnership with compliance; provide preventive recommendations and support process documentation
Salary : $44 - $50
