As the successful candidate, you will partner closely with the CFO & play an integral role in the overall success of the organization as you:
- Manage month/year end reporting
- Analyze accounting department performance & facilitate continuous improvements
- Assist CFO in coordinating annual budget and financial analysis.
- Monitor and improve product standard costing procedures.
- Prepare payroll tax returns and reports, including 401-K data.
- Assign, track, and monitor capital projects, providing regular updates.
- Generate monthly sales and product profitability reports.
- Collaborate inter-departmentally across the organization
- Cultivate a culture of teamwork, accountability, and trust.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will likely possess:
- 3 years in an accounting leadership position in manufacturing
- The ability & desire to adapt to new software solutions
- Strong month/year end close experience
- Expertise with standard costing
- A documented history of preparing budgets/forecasts
- The ability & desire to mentor staff
