We are hiring a Cost Accountant for a rewarding engagement with a growing Quad Cities organization who has a global reach and a global customer base. This opportunity provides for challenging yet rewarding work assignments, opportunity to be a part of some impactful projects and work with a leadership team who wouldn't have gotten to where they are with mentors and others developing them along the way. In this engagement, you will wear a Cost Accountant hat but also have opportunity to participate in other general and financial accounting functions. Additionally, you'll work within a small but mighty core team including a Controller, Sr Accountant and Operational Accountant.
You'll contribute to the success of the department through activities such as reviewing BOMs, standard costs, participating in team meetings and advancing the ball forward. You'll participate in month end close, inventory counts and analysis, audit preparation and various projects that are on deck. Opportunity is located in the Quad Cities and offers real-life flexibility; completely remote is not an option with this role as the right candidate will want to be on-site a good amount of the work week, immersed in the innovative manufacturing processes of this firm.

We are seeking a Cost Accountant who has a continuous improvement mindset, great command of their technical capabilities including advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency who has exposure to cost accounting principals, if not direct experience. We are seeking someone who succeeds in a team; we appreciate independent accountability as well but contributing to the team's greater goals is key in this role.
