This long-term contract / temporary Data Entry Clerk position is in Hadley, Massachusetts.
Your responsibilities
- Maintaining data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures
- Gathering and organizing information to be entered into the computer; prioritizing entries
- Carrying out operations, using policies and procedures; detailing necessary revisions
- Detecting flaws in data while processing customer and account source documents
- Working with highly confidential materials
- Providing assistance with data entry and other administrative tasks
- Completing additional tasks as needed
Requirements
- Less than one year of experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possess strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Fulfill a data entry speed of 8,000 keystrokes per hour with 100% accuracy
- Strong computer skills including customer database systems
- Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Scanning Documents experience highly preferred
- Proficiency in Basic Bookkeeping
- Adeptness in cash posting
- Solid understanding of Computer Data Entry
- Practical knowledge of scanning
- Accounts Payable (AP) experience
- Command of numeric data entry
- General familiarity with filing
- Microsoft Excel experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of Answering Inbound Calls
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
