Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate, impactful, and technical Service Delivery Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, high standards, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach. This person will hold themselves accountable in a detail oriented, collaborative manner and will work under minimal supervision to maintain, administer, and support a Supply Chain Warehouse Management application portfolio. This role requires partnership with Leadership, Managed Service providers, and other team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently and collaboratively conduct day-to-day maintenance and administration of software platforms, including configuration updates following established procedures.
- Identify root causes of operational issues and resolve them independently or through Managed Service partners.
- Manage support relationships with vendors for COTS software and direct managed service partners in working with those vendors.
- Collaborate closely with Business partners and Technology teams to solve system challenges, plan for new projects and events, and develop strategies for capacity planning, monitoring, configuration, security, metrics, reporting, recovery, and migration.
- Ensure adherence to IT Security standards and provide timely updates to IT Security activities and vulnerabilities to Technology Leadership.
- Support multiple levels of testing prior to the release of new and upgraded infrastructure, products, and/or services.
- Responsible for documentation, communication, and monitoring.
- Clearly communicate technical findings, issues, and outcomes to other team members.
- Produce status reports on issues and assist in gathering metrics of incident resolution.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of supply chain and logistics systems and processes.
- Familiarity with Jira and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of network connectivity and wireless technologies.
- Experience with mobile computing platforms.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with Java and .Net, SOA, Java/J2EE, XML, ProC, Perl, HTML, PHP, JSP, open source technologies.
- Experience with GIT, HP ALM, UC4, Version One.
- Middleware familiarity with Websphere/Weblogic/Apache TomCat, MQ.
- Knowledge of Application Server, Rules Engine, and Oracle programming methodologies.
- Working knowledge of both Oracle and Microsoft SQLServer databases.
- Experience with enterprise operating systems (Windows, Unix, and Linux).
Basic Qualifications:
- 3-7 years of progressively related experience in Service Delivery Management and/or Application Support.
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Proven understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Experience with basic web technology management, including:
- Domain registration
- Certificate management
- 3rd Party Hosting service providers
- Encryption key management
- Knowledge and understanding of technical architecture, application systems design, and integration in a large heterogeneous enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of IT Security best practices and vulnerability management.
- Familiarity with Cloud Hosted services like Azure, AWS, GCP, and VMWare.
- Proven ability to learn and apply new technologies.
- Effective communication skills to liaise between Managers, Architecture, Engineering, Development, and Operations, as well as other stakeholders.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting via cross-functional teams and driving issues to resolution.
- Strong communication skills and proven ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Experience working with vendor teams to deliver high-quality results.
