Desktop Support Analyst

Description

If you're interested in communicating complex technical information to non-technical users in an understandable and concise format, Robert Half has an open position for a Desktop Support Technician you might be interested in. This Desktop Support Technician role is best suited for problem solvers who prefer to work in a challenging and positive environment. Located in the Bardstown, Kentucky, area, this Desktop Support Analyst role is full-time in nature.

What you get to do every day

- Meet regularly and effectively with ticket submitters

- Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities

- Offer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems

- Rectify computer problems, and suggest appropriate action/solutions

- Deliver computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures

- hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors

- Retain, investigate, and restore computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals

Requirements

- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals

- 3 years of desktop support or other related experience

- Adeptness in Basic Network Troubleshooting

- Good understanding of Printer Problems

- Demonstrated knowledge of Hardware Troubleshooting

- End-User Support experience highly preferred

- Earlier work involving Printer Hardware

- Background working with Network Printers

- Microsoft Windows 10 experience preferred

- Mobile Device Management experience

- Previous experience working with Permissions

- Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows 7 in an Active Directory environment

- Practical knowledge of Break Fix

- General familiarity with Basic Troubleshooting

- Mobile Device Support experience

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
