Description Robert Half is on the lookout for a dynamic, organized individual looking to step into the role of File Clerk. The basic clerical tasks of this position include maintenance/management of physical and digital filing systems, operation of office equipment, and completion of general office work. - Handle clerical tasks like word processing, filing, scanning, archiving, and faxing
- Using allotted time frames, retrieve data
- File documents properly as part of quality control related tasks
- Intake of questions regarding records and files
- Administer proper guidelines to arrange high volumes of letters, memoranda, invoices, and other indexed documents according to specific guidelines
- Handle and support diverse projects on the behalf of other employees
- Coordinate file management, including gathering and indexing, with other departments and employees Requirements - All applicants must have a high school diploma or its equivalent
- Efficient in handling office equipment
- Basic computer skills, including Excel
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Experience with filing
- Foundational knowledge in navigating basic office equipment and protocols
- Comprehensive knowledge of MS Outlook
- Proficiency in mail processing
- Microsoft Word experience preferred
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Employer prefers 1 year of File Clerk experience
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments
