Compensation: $75000.00 to $85000.00 yearly
Mostly remote opportunity for a financial analyst to join one of the most sought after employers in the greater Baltimore area. This position is targeted at 1 day a month in office so you must be commutable to Baltimore. This company does a great job of promoting teamwork and getting the team together and building comradery while also onboarding people in a mostly remote environment. This is a chance to work in corporate FP& A financial planning and analysis for one of the largest employers based in Maryland. In this position you will be responsible for both monthly, quarterly and annual analysis as well as a good bit of ad hoc and special project work. You will be responsible for presenting your findings to senior management and will have a ton of room for growth. Major responsibilities
- Make and update forecasting reports
- Understand and explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending
- Monthly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level P& L forecasting
- Engage with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process
- Offer monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required
- Use Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support
