Robert Half is seeking candidates to support a client with an open Guidewire Developer position in the Insurance industry. You'll be right for this position if you can handle being responsible for implementing new features, maintaining existing code, and refactoring existing code across a breadth of products used both internally and externally at the company. This permanent employment opportunity that is fully remote.

- Regularly perform code-review and collaborate with other developers
- You'll be great at this job if you can maintain and develop new features to internal and external facing software to enhance the customer experience and resolve issues on various operating systems
- Render clear and consistent notifications around solutions and time estimate to client-facing program management teams
- Collaborate with Scrum team to provide accurate work estimates
- Fix and offer production support
Requirements
- Solid background in Guidewire Development within the Insurance industry.
- Knowledge of education standard such as QTI/APIP, SIF, AIF is a plus
- If you're looking for job openings and have experience with software development life cycles, e.g. Agile, Big Bang, Spiral, Waterfall, etc., you might be a good fit for this position
- This position will be the best fit for a candidate with familiarity with full-stack development (front-end, to middle/application tier, to database)
- Java experience
- Expertise in application development
- Strong familiarity with Software Development
- Insurance Industry experience highly desired
