If you love Human Resources and you're looking for an exciting, new opportunity, Robert Half has the opportunity for you as a Human Resources Generalist for a recreational motor vehicle company in Sandy, Oregon. In this role, you will perform various HR duties, including managing employee relations, updating applicants, conducting new hire orientation, and updating the employee handbook. The position will be primarily on-site with the potential to offer hybrid work down the line. This is a short-term, temporary/contract opportunity.
What you get to do every single day
- Create official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination letters
- Draft templates for various HR documents
- Manage digital and physical files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual reviews
- Compare local, state, and federal laws to current internal policies and procedures
- Accountable for completing various tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department
- Manage employee relations, including coordinating sensitive conversations and engaging employees
- Create onboarding plans and educate newly hired employees on internal procedures, HR policies, and regulations
- Work with other members of the HR department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for new company employees
