Robert Half currently has an opening for a highly-skilled Human Resources Assistant within their team. The Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for handling a number of different personnel related administrative tasks and will provide clerical support to the HR department and employees. Based in the Louisville, Kentucky area, this is a long-term contract opportunity.
Responsibilities of the HR Assistant:
• Assist incoming applicants and employees in Human Resources
• Aid with pieces of pre-employment requirements for new employees
• Schedule applicant interviews & answer applicant inquiries
Requirements
- Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
- Prior experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
- Eagerness to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on variety of tasks and projects
- Foundational knowledge in scheduling
- 2 years administrative or human resources specialist/coordinator experience
- Approachable and appropriate demeanor when interacting with all levels of staff in a rapidly changing environment
- Qualified in Microsoft Office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
