The ideal candidate will be well-versed in various HR functions such as Benefit Functions, Compensation Administration, Compliance, Employee Relations, Payroll, Employment Law, and Onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and advice to managers on Human Resources and employee relations issues.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.
- Generate state and federal reports as mandated, such as Affirmative Action Plan, yearly OSHA reporting, Equal Employment Opportunity report, and Family Medical Leave.
- Manage investigations related to unemployment, workers' compensation, and other areas by being well-versed in the relevant laws.
- Oversee the compensation process, ensuring fair and competitive pay for all employees.
- Manage the overall employment process, from recruitment to termination.
- Handle the workers' compensation program, including claim management and return-to-work programs.
- Oversee payroll, pay methods, Fair Labor Standard Act compliance, overtime and travel pay, and other compliance matters.
- Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a Human Resources (HR) management role
- Experience in Compensation Administration is required
- Compliance knowledge and experience is a must-have
- Must have strong skills in Employee Relations
- Knowledge and understanding of Employment Law is required
- Experience in Onboarding new employees is needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
- Should have the ability to handle confidential information
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field
