What are the responsibilities and job description for the In House Counsel position at Robert Half?
This is a growing company that does business in California, New York, and Texas which provides investment and wealth management services, legal, accounting, tax, property management services to clients. They are looking for a counsel to join their fiduciary services team reporting to Senior Counsel in the Houston office.
This counsel will be primarily responsible for New York real estate matters as well as complex project and investment fund management related to those endeavors. Counsel will help with closing properties in the NY real estate market.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist Senior Counsel with drafting documents related to property management and review of such documents
- Assist with coordination and administration of investment funds
- Reviewing recommendations by the Investment Committee as well as complex partnership and entity documents, investment documents, and capital calls.
- Review financing related to real estate investment assets
- Assist creating new bank accounts with compliance information
- Stay up to date with Know Your Customer and Anti-Money Laundering regulations
- Assist with relevant documentation and review of such
Requirements
Requirements:
- Located in Houston, TX
- Licensed and in good standing with the New York State Bar
- 3 years of work experience with New York real estate

Salary : $150,000 - $180,000
