The Inventory Clerk will be responsible to manage orders to facilitate sales or production and keep track of goods and services. Inventory Clerk responsibilities will include signing off on shipments, counting the number of available products and placing orders for more inventory according to demand. Major responsibilities
- Getting prices and estimates from vendors and then comparing costs
- Securing shipment arrival times from vendors and suppliers after ordering inventory
- Managing inventory by stocking and cataloging products
- Classifying and counting items
- Notice and report discrepancies between physical counts and computer records
- Spending time collaborating with the inventory analyst and purchasing manager
- Handling all inconsistencies in documents
- Entering data into the system
Requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Analytical and mathematical skills
- Must be able to drive a forklift and lift approximately 50 pounds
Salary : $38,000 - $45,000
