Lead and mentor a global team of CloudOps Engineers and Corporate IT professionals
Understand common workflows, identify and eliminate inefficiencies, and work to identify needs
Represent the CloudOps and IT teams to the larger organization, collaborating cross-functionally with a variety of service and sales teams
Advise on the CloudOps and IT budgets, including forecasting and cost optimization
Manage vendor relationships to ensure functional requirements and SLAs are met
Requirements
5 years managing a global team of technical professionals
5 years using public cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) stacks, build tools and web architectures
Experience running data centers and leading migration projects a plus
5 years building and deploying reliable, scalable, and secure solutions in Windows and Linux
Proven understanding of virtualization, networking, storage technologies, as well as security best practices
Proficient with underlying technologies (SQL, HTTP, SSL, DNS, Load Balancers, VPC’s, Transit Gateway, VPN, caching, etc)
Master organizer that sees the big picture to prioritize team activity for continuous progress
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to make decisions under pressure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Deep understanding of observability and data visualization best practices and tooling
Experience with Kaseya and Powershell, as well as infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform
Experience contributing to security and privacy audits (PCI/DSS, SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO27001, etc)
