On Site Position with some flexibility
• Establishes an IT infrastructure for a greenfield operation within the corporate standards using industry best practices. • Responsible for IT infrastructure and IT operations to ensure key business strategies and processes are supported by systems enabling company growth and flexibility. • Acceptance and evaluation of broadband requirements for the IT infrastructure to ensure performance of all applications. • Provides local hands-on execution of Information Security to protect information assets within the corporate guidelines. • Create and manage local IT operations policies within corporate guidelines. • Manages IT operations and IT projects in the context of maintenance, monitoring, care, planning and further development of complex IT infrastructure systems (client, server, networks, telecommunications, data centers, databases, user administration, etc.) as well as IT security systems. • Evaluate user requirements and internally or externally coordinate the development, implementation and support within the corporate IT standards. • Consult with leadership, vendors and other co-workers in order to drive continuous improvement and introduction of IT 'best practices' into all areas of process, metrics, and performance. • Ensures compliance with applicable company, state, and federal laws, statutes, and regulations, as appropriate. • Collaborate with peers to assure optimal resource deployment for the company as a whole • Flexibility and agility to respond quickly, effectively in a highly dynamic, changing environment.
• At least 5 years of detail oriented experience in IT; Experience in IT Infrastructure, IT Application or similar role preferred. • 3-5 years consistent hands-on experience in the US. • Proficient in Infrastructure and Operating Systems. • Experience in Production/Manufacturing environment. • Project management skills, especially in agile environments. • Knowledge of modern IT architecture principles (Microservices, distributed environments). • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure environments, especially databases and application servers. • Advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, application systems design and integration. • Knowledge of IT security principles both on IT-infrastructure and Application level.
