Robert Half is partnering with a client in the Telecom Service Industry who is looking to hire a Jr. iOS Developer. As Junior iOS Developer, you'll build beautiful and user-friendly iOS apps for our customers. Your code will be written in a timely and scalable way all while ensuring strong optimization. You'll also unit-test your code for robustness including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. You'll work closely with our clients product team to deliver high-quality iOS apps. This permanent opportunity is located in Bellevue, Washington and has a hybrid in office schedule of 2 days onsite/3 remote.
Duties:
- Create apps for iOS and OS X.
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Work as part of a team to define, create, and launch new features.
- Identify and repair bottlenecks, as well as defects.
- Assist in maintaining code quality, structure, and automation.
What we’re looking for:
- You've published one or more iOS apps in the app store.
- You're familiar with Swift
- You know how to work with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text.
- You have a solid understanding of the iOS platform.
- You are capable of making use of standard libraries and APIs.
- You have a working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
- You know what the full mobile development lifecycle involves.
- You're analytical and good at time management.
- You have great communication and problem-solving skills.
- You're curious about new technologies and you're excited to find ways to implement them in your work.
- You have a big appetite to learn and improve your iOS skills.
Skills:
- 2 years of experience
- In-depth knowledge of Swift and its environments
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming
- Excellent understanding of performance limitations and features
- Memory management and multi-threading knowledge
- Experience with embedded databases and other system datastores
- Strong awareness of UI design and a user-centered mindset
