Jr. Paralegal

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Jr. Paralegal in the Legal industry, located in Atlanta, Georgia. The successful candidate will be part of a team that provides legal support services in a hybrid workplace setting. This role is primarily research and writing intensive, and forms the first step for anyone interested in pursuing a legal career.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive legal research pertaining to various cases and legal issues.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of immigration-related documents and questionnaires.
• Draft and review legal documents under the supervision of senior legal staff.
• Utilize legal research skills to support the preparation of complex cases.
• Maintain and update client records on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with legal team to ensure smooth and efficient legal operations.
• Handle client inquiries professionally and in a timely manner.
• Assist in the printing and organization of legal documents and other materials.
• Participate in training and onboarding sessions as required.
• Monitor client accounts and take appropriate action based on their status.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Must hold a Bachelor's or Honours Degree in a relevant field
• Proficiency in preparing and managing questionnaires
• Demonstrated knowledge of Immigration Law
• Capability to handle printing tasks as required
• Strong legal research skills
• Proficient in legal writing
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to prioritize, organize and manage workload effectively
• High attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in MS office especially MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
