Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our Full-Time Professionals practice group. Our Full-Time Professionals are the Accounting and Finance Loan Staff for Robert Half of central Ohio. These professionals tackle challenging, long term and highly visible client directed projects in the Columbus market. The skills and exposure successful candidates receive significantly advance their career. Previous success in fast paced and dynamic environments with a 'get-it-done' mindset are a must for this position. The Junior Accountant will have practical accounting experience and an academic foundation.

****This role can be HYBRID - Candidate must live in Central Ohio for Consideration****

Responsibilities (Responsibilities include but not limited to):

• Transactional Accounting | Financial Reporting | General Ledger Accounting
• Account Reconciliations | Bank Reconciliations
• Journal Entries | Month-End-Close
• Assisting with monthly/quarterly/year-end financial statements

Requirements:

• Recommended to hold an AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• High-level understanding of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP’s) is preferred
• Practical knowledge of financial statement preparation
• Foundational knowledge in month end closings
• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
• General familiarity with cash reconciliations
• Accounting Clerk role familiarity
• A positive attitude, adaptability, willingness to learn & grow, and an adventurous mindset.
