What are the responsibilities and job description for the M365 Administrator position at Robert Half?
We are seeking a talented and driven M365 Admin to join our client's growing team. To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience supporting Microsoft 365 services, manage user identity and roles, support security and threat management, and create governance and compliance in their M365 tenant. Your contributions will play a vital role in ensuring the responsiveness, performance, and scalability of the 365 services. This is a permanent (FTE), fully remote position and candidate's must be able to work PST hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Microsoft 365 Management:
- Design, configure, and maintain Microsoft 365 tenant settings.
- Implement and manage user accounts, licenses, and security groups.
- Monitor and troubleshoot email delivery, spam filtering, and mailbox permissions.
- Administer SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business services.
- Manage Teams and other collaboration tools within Microsoft 365.
Azure Integration:
- Utilize foundational knowledge of Azure to support hybrid cloud setups.
- Integrate Microsoft 365 with Azure AD for secure authentication and identity management.
- Monitor Azure resources, analyze usage, and optimize costs.
- Collaborate with Azure experts for advanced configurations and migrations.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce security policies and compliance standards within Microsoft 365.
- Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and vulnerability scans.
- Respond to and remediate security incidents and data breaches.
Backup and Recovery:
- Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies for Microsoft 365 data.
- Ensure business continuity by implementing disaster recovery solutions.
Documentation and Training:
- Document configurations, policies, and procedures for Microsoft 365 and Azure.
- Provide training and support to end-users and IT staff regarding Microsoft 365 features and best practices.
Technical Support:
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Microsoft 365 and Azure.
- Collaborate with the helpdesk team to address user-reported problems.
Salary : $85,000 - $125,000
