Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking an Office Manager to join their team in Silver Spring. The Office Manager will oversee day-to-day operations and efficiency. As the Office Manager you will be managing administrative staff, office supplies, as well as budgets and other accounting responsibilities. Your responsibilities in this role
- Order inventory/supplies as well as research and negotiate cost effective prices with vendors
- Handle any issues that arise with the office, employees, or customers
- Help operations by supervising staff and maintaining office systems
- Help with accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Bank/account reconciliation, and expense reimbursement
- Managing the overall hiring experience with new employees including recruiting, onboarding, and training
Requirements
High attention to detail as well as critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- 5 years of office management or bookeeping experience
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with individuals of all backgrounds
- Microsoft Office experience preferred
- Some experience with payroll software applications and QuickBooks
- High school diploma or equivalent required (AA/AS preferred)
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
