We are on the lookout for a multiple Patient Registration Specialists for one of our heatlhcare clients here in downtown Indianapolis. Being part of our team in Indianapolis area you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including patient registration, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:• Facilitate patient flow from point of entry to destination, ensuring a smooth and professional process• Obtain and record patient information to generate a clear demographic and financial record• Schedule appointments and interview patients to collect appropriate medical information• Explain departmental and hospital policies and charges to patients• Validate and enter charges into the appropriate systems accurately and efficiently• Collect necessary payments and handle billing functions• Answer incoming calls promptly and direct patients and visitors appropriately• Utilize EHR SYSTEM: Cerner Technologies• Develop charts and graphs using Microsoft Excel to present data• Deliver high-quality customer service and data entry skills.
