The Payroll Clerk's job duties consist of data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. This Payroll Clerk opportunity is offered on a long-term contract / temporary to hire basis.
Major responsibilities
- Build and run custom reports
- Distribute and administer reports as instructed
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc
- Update data into spreadsheets and the payroll system
- Craft and deliver training to employees on the use of proper payroll practices, including timesheet entry and online methods of accessing pay statements
- Correspond with employees via email and phone to garner approvals on timesheets
- Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system
