- Transfer data from PC to PC and troubleshoot software/hardware as well as break/fix
- Install, troubleshoot and repair printers
- Image and prepare new computers
- Track equipment inventory and collaborate on potential purchases
- Ensure the integrity of all electronic data records by following company quality standards
- Take down, box, move and set up/install on site
- Take down, box and ship out of date equipment
- Provide documentation of daily data communication transactions, issues and repairs made or installation activities
- Own and complete technology implementation projects
- Coordinate repairs with the appropriate vendors
- Assist with functionality testing and end user support
- Communicate with ticket submitters effectively and on a regular basis
- Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and refurbish a variety of computer hardware, including PCs, laptops, monitors, servers and other IT equipment
Requirements
- Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Be detailed, flexible, and organized
- Command of Technical Support
- Solid understanding of Technical Support
- An understanding of networking such as switching and routing is highly valued
- 1 - 3 years of experience with PC and Mac hardware and software, and an understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN
- CompTIA A certification required
