We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a PC Technician in Reston, Virginia. As a PC Technician, you will be primarily responsible for supporting the Regional Conference Center and Office Manager in ensuring the smooth functioning of all audio-visual equipment within the office. This role will require you to work closely with various departments and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.Responsibilities:• Assist with the setup and support of audio-visual equipment for meetings in all conference spaces within the office.• Work closely with Corporate Information Technology (CIT) and other departments to ensure capabilities are understood and a solid plan to meet requirements is in place.• Provide technical support for various systems such as Crestron, Switches, VoIP System, VoIP, Wireless Microphones, Audio Mixing, Video Production.• Educate clients on meeting room setups and capabilities available.• Resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner to minimize disruptions.• Regularly monitor and maintain all conference spaces to ensure they are ready for use.• Responsible for the upkeep and accuracy of all AV equipment and systems.• Collaborate with meeting organizers to understand their requirements and provide necessary technical support.• Maintain a calm and professional demeanor while supporting meetings in various office spaces.• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the field of audio-visual technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
