Responsibilities:
- Financial planning and analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for the plant, providing valuable insights into financial performance, cost trends, and potential risks or opportunities.
- Cost control and optimization: Monitor and analyze plant costs, identifying areas for improvement, cost-saving opportunities, and efficiency enhancements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective cost control measures.
- Financial reporting and compliance: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal accounting policies.
- Inventory management: Oversee inventory control processes, including valuation, reconciliation, and physical counts. Implement strategies to minimize excess or obsolete inventory and improve inventory turnover.
- Business partnership: Collaborate with plant managers and operational teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making. Act as a business partner, offering guidance on financial implications of operational strategies and initiatives.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) are preferred.
- Proven experience as a Plant Controller or in a similar financial management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis, cost accounting, and inventory management.
- Proficient in using financial software and tools, with advanced knowledge of MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with diverse stakeholders and presenting financial information to non-financial audiences.
Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
