Our North Fort Worth client is seeking a procurement manager for a 3 to 4 month engagement. In this role, you'll be part of our team, managing procurement processes, negotiating contracts, and conducting spend analysis. This role requires a strategic mindset, analytical skills, and experience in contract management and procurement, particularly in the sourcing industry.Responsibilities:Contract management, negotiation, RPS, RPF, policy and spend analysis experience. Client has numerous contracts expiring by December 2024 and need assistance in updating these contracts or RFPs for replacements. This is 4 days in the office / 1 day remote. Top 3 Keys: Strategic MindsetExperience with Contracts/Scopes of WorkRFP ExperienceAnalytical skillsExperience with Corrigo and/or Apttus a plus, but not required • Manage over 50 contracts that are due for renewal or updating within a specified timeframe• Conduct negotiations for contract renewals and updates, ensuring the best terms for our organization• Oversee the Request for Proposal (RFP) process to secure competitive bids for contracts• Lead the procurement process, from sourcing suppliers to finalizing purchases• Conduct spend analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements• Develop and implement procurement policies to guide internal purchasing decisions• Utilize procurement software, such as Apttus and Corrigo, to streamline processes and maintain accurate records• Collaborate with internal teams to understand their procurement needs and offer solutions• Manage customer service inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses• Oversee the invoice process, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
