Robert Half is currently working with a client looking to fill a Purchaser position. The Purchaser will negotiate contracts with vendors for the best price and value on new products and services. This may be the role for you if you are an experience purchaser with excellent communication, inventory management and analytical skills.Responsibilities- Engage with vendors and clients to negotiate contracts- Visit exhibitions, shows, and events in order to view new products and network with vendors- Maintain all records of purchased products- Review price and quality of potential products, vendors, and services in order to get the best deal- Write reports on purchases made and performing cost analyses- Report any issues with delivered products in timely manner- Maintain inventory and refill stock as necessary- Work with delivery and warehouse teams to ensure goods are received on time- Participate in meetings with staff and other stakeholders
