Robert Half is currently working with a global leader in their industry that is looking for a Procurement Non-Trade Buyer. As the Procurement Non-Trade Buyer you will be responsible for supporting the purchasing department. Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills are required for this position. The ideal candidate will have previous purchasing or procurement experience and a desire to advance their career. This will be an ongoing contract assignment with potential for hire.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of customer service skills while working with vendors and suppliers
- Research and compare suppliers, goods, and services
- Works closely with all departments to ensure they have appropriate inventory levels
- Perform data entry of purchase orders daily
- Ensure that received orders have all necessary information
- Aid in any additional duties of the purchasing department
Requirements
- A minimum of a HS Diploma or equivalent
- 2 year working in a professional setting
- Ability to provide exemplary customer service while working with vendors and suppliers
- Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data
