We are seeking an entry-level purchasing clerk to join our our client in the Galleria area. The purchasing clerk will be responsible for assisting with the procurement of goods and services, managing purchase orders, maintaining records, and communicating with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the procurement of goods and services as per established policies and procedures
- Create and manage purchase orders for goods and services, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and track orders to ensure timely delivery
- Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, pricing, and delivery dates
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Conduct research on potential suppliers and assist with vendor management activities
- Provide administrative support to the procurement team as needed
